What is PickleBall? PickleBall is a fun and social game played by various ages. The game is a combination of tennis, badminton, and ping pong. Haven’t played before? No problem! Come to an open play session. We have two pickleball courts. One for beginners and one for more experienced and competitive players.
Open play will begin on January 31st and will be on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 7:00AM-10:00AM. We have two full pickleball courts with nets provided, (bring your own paddle and balls). The entry fee is $5 and can be paid at the door with cash, check or venmo to @Ashr22. Leagues coming soon.
Here are the rules from pickleball.com:
The ball is served diagonally (starting with the right-hand service-square), and points can only be scored by the side that serves.
Players on each side must let the ball bounce once before volleys are allowed, and there is a seven-foot no-volley zone on each side of the net, to prevent “spiking.” The server continues to serve, alternating service courts, until he or she faults. The first side scoring eleven points and leading by at least two points wins. Pickle-ball® can be played with singles or doubles
